Promotional codes

With the Promotional code module you will be able to configure offers for any type of product, be they directly contracted or externally supplied products, and applicable on the Web as well as in the Call Center.

You may create 3 types of discount:

Early booking discounts
Promotions
Campaigns

Early bird discounts

This discount type is also known as an Early Booking offer.

Characteristics:

You may edit the name of the discount and the description.
It allows to associate the discount with an image and a URL to explain in detail the discount conditions.
The discount can be a fixed amount, or percentage.
You may apply the discount according to:
- Booking date, travel date, and days in advance.
- Amount
- Sales channel, product type, supplier and agency group.
It can be cumulative and apply together with other early bird discounts.

Promotions

This type of discount generates a unique code for single use and it is suitable to create promotional cards and customized email campaigns.

Main differences compared to the early discounts:

Apart from being a fixed or percentage amount, the discount can also be applicable as a gift.
They cannot be cumulative dicounts.
Generates random automatic codes of a single use.

Once the code has been used, in the intranet you will be able to see the booking code it was applied to, as well as the date it was applied.

Campaigns

This type of discount generates a code with limited use and is appropriate for mass emailing campaigns, web campaigns, etc.

Differences found with the previous discounts:

Apart from being a fixed or percentage amount, the discount can also be applicable as a gift.
They cannot be cumulative dicounts.
You can create a free text alphanumeric code with limited use.
You can also activate the discount without needing to enter a code and with unlimited use, as long as the conditions you have set are met.
